Review: Etham – Know Me Yet

Know Me Yet

Reading-based singer-songwriter Etham has unveiled his latest single, ‘Know Me Yet,’ the third single off his EP due out in the fall. It follows the successful release of ‘Guilty’, which saw him deviate from his piano based production and turn to the guitar. For this ballad, he returns to the piano and the track starts off delicate, Etham’s breathy vocals delivering the song well, with the right level of emotion. His falsetto in the chorus is well controlled and a joy to listen to. Sonically, the production reminds me of Taylor Swift’s 1989, it’s polished pop, melodically strong and easy for the listener to connect with. In just a few short years, Etham has forged a path of musical excellence, dazzling audiences worldwide with his soulful sound and irresistible charm. It’s easy to see why he has amassed so many streams during that time, his vocals are dreamy and clear and melodically it’s easy to latch onto.
