Country Calling

Country Calling is a UK country music festival in Essex, bringing together international performers and homegrown British talent for a celebration of country music and culture. The festival prides itself on presenting country music in its many forms, while also providing international artists with opportunities to make their first UK appearances and giving British performers a platform alongside established overseas acts.

Country music meets Nashville culture

Beyond live performances, Country Calling offers an extensive programme of entertainment inspired by American and Nashville culture. Visitors can take part in line dancing, explore a Nashville style Dive Bar, watch live cooking demonstrations and browse the Trading Post for boots, hats, clothing and accessories. A custom hat bar allows festivalgoers to create personalised Western headwear, while an American muscle car display celebrates classic and modern vehicles.

Food is another part of the experience, with the Food Village serving options including barbecue favourites, burgers, Asian street food and festival treats. A family fun fair adds bumper cars, waltzers, a big wheel and giant slide.

Visitors wanting to stay for the complete festival experience can choose between camping, glamping and dedicated areas for live in vehicles, including caravans.
