Kip Moore to bring “Reason to Believe” Tour to Australia and New Zealand in 2026

Multi-platinum singer/songwriter Kip Moore announces his anticipated return to Australia and New Zealand this October and November as part of his Reason To Believe World Tour.  This is in addition to previously announced shows in South Africa, European festival performances at State Fayre in the UK and Holland International Blues Festival in the Netherlands. Moore will also co-headline a tour of Germany and Switzerland with Jackson Dean. Marking his sixth visit down under, the multi-platinum singer-songwriter will play up close and intimate theatres across the Australian East Coast from Friday 30 October, along with stops in Auckland and Christchurch. Ahead of the upcoming world tour, Moore also announced his brand new single ‘Levee’ releasing today (March 6). The song follows his critically acclaimed 2025 album Solitary Tracks. Written entirely by Moore and largely recorded while on the road, the 23-track collection sees the musician turn inward. In writing these tracks, he found peace in the exploration of his own personal experiences. Moore is ready to embark on a new chapter and share this phase of his musical journey. Moore spent much of the last few years on the road. He’s travelled from Europe and the UK to Australia, New Zealand and South Africa and back home to the States. Now, he’s making his return to those countries with new music and a new tour. Emmylou Harris and Josh Ross added to line-up for The Long Road Festival 2026

The Long Road Festival has announced more big names from the world of country to its line-up. Grammy Award winner Emmylou Harris will be wrapping up her European Farewell Tour at the festival, which will be held over August Bank Holiday weekend. Bailey Zimmerman’s Return to the UK The UK’s largest and most immersive outdoor Country, Americana and Roots festival, is held in Leicestershire. It had already been announced that Bailey Zimmerman will be headlining on Saturday night, making a return to the UK after two years away. The line-up also includes Canadian country artist Josh Ross, Grammy Award winner Jim Lauderdale, Shakey Graves, The Felice Brothers, Uncle Lucius, Striking Matches, Oliver Hazard and The 502s. Six Stages and All American Experiences Festival goers will be able to take in the best of country across six stages. They can also expect US-inspired street food, American BBQ, craft beers, the Lucky Dice Classic Car & Bike show, line dancing, campfires, vintage funfair rides, the dog show and pooch parade, activities and games for families and kids, Country-oke, and more. The Red Dog Saloon Texas-style BBQ restaurant will also be offering premier dining experiences at its on-site restaurant. Championing British Talent The Long Road is also dedicated to championing British artists. Kezia Gill, Rose Betts, Trevor Moss & Hannah-Lou and Liam Price are all set to perform. Liam Price won the festival’s Homegrown Talent Contest last year. Application details for this year’s competition will be shared in the spring.

Jelly Roll has announced dates for his 2026 tour. The rapper and songwriter is due to go on tour with Post Malone for the Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2. Post Malone’s 25-date tour, which begins Friday, April 10 in Fort Lauderdale, Flordia, will also feature Carter Faith and run through to July. The Little ASS Shed Tour The Little ASS Shed Tour will serve as a companion to Post’s tour. It will see Jelly Roll visit 11 US cities. He will be joined by Kashus Culpepper, who released his debut album, Act I, last month. Expect to catch Jelly Roll in Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, Virginia, Michigan, New York, New Hampshire, Washington and more. So far, it has been a noteworthy year for Jelly Roll. Earlier this month, he released a new song called Thorns, which is dedicated to his wife, podcast host, Bunnie XO. Last month, he took home three Grammy awards which included Best Contemporary Country Album for Beautifully Broken. The Band Perry is back after almost a decade. Here’s what to expect from what they’re calling “Season 2”. The band – consisting of husband and wife Johnny and Kimberly – have released a new song called PSYCHOLOGICAL. From Trio to Duo The Band Perry had been a trio consisting of Kimberly Perry and her brothers, Neil and Reid. In 2010, they reached the number one spot on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart with their song, If I Die Young, which Kimberly wrote. The trio emerged out of Greeneville, Tennessee. In 2023, the band announced they were going on a hiatus to focus on their solo work. In 2025  Kimberly’s husband, Johnny,  joined as a backing vocalist for his wife. The band’s new song, PSYCHOLOGICAL, is an obsessive love story which was written by Clara Park, Grace Tyler, and Colton Venner. Psycho Rodeo Tour The band hit the road on their Psycho Rodeo tour next month, running through to August when they are due to perform at the Red, White, and Boots in Huntingburg, Indiana.

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum to showcase new American talent

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is due to open a new exhibition celebrating the current crop of country talent. In “American Currents: State of the Music”, the Nashville institution will offer perspective on country music’s latest chapter. Newest Musical Developments Developments in the country genre including artist achievements and notable events over the past year will be examined. The latest chart-topping albums and singles will be showcased, as well as 2025’s sell-out tours and notable award ceremonies. Among those represented in the exhibition are: Biscuits & Banjos festival, Jason Carter and Michael Cleveland, Tyler Childers, Charley Crockett, Sierra Ferrell, Country Music Hall of Fame member Vince Gill, Ashley Gorley, Charlie Handsome, Sierra Hull, I’m With Her, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Ella Langley, MJ Lenderman, Megan Moroney, Ringo Starr, Billy Strings, Zach Top, Morgan Wallen, Waxahatchee, Wednesday, Jesse Welles, Lainey Wilson and Stephen Wilson Jr. Kyle Young, CEO of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, said: “It’s central to our mission at the museum to report on country music — not just its storied past but also what’s happening right now. “We present stories of collaboration, perseverance and innovation from emerging artists and established luminaries — and the instruments, stage wear and personal items that bring those stories to life. ‘American Currents’ is a testament to the constant vitality of the music.” What to Expect The annual exhibit will feature objects, video footage, and interactive elements. It will open on Wednesday, March 18. Musical connections between artists and those who have influenced them or share their musical perspective will be showcased in the “Unbroken Circle” section. These include pairings of Ken Pomeroy and John Denver, Carter Faith and Country Music Hall of Fame member Tammy Wynette and Muscadine Bloodline and Turnpike Troubadours. In support of the exhibition’s opening, the museum will host related programming, including a Songwriter Session with Carter Faith on March 21 and a Musician Spotlight with Sierra Hull on March. 22.
