The Band Perry is back after almost a decade. Here’s what to expect from what they’re calling “Season 2”.
The band – consisting of husband and wife Johnny and Kimberly – have released a new song called PSYCHOLOGICAL.
From Trio to Duo
The Band Perry had been a trio consisting of Kimberly Perry and her brothers, Neil and Reid.
In 2010, they reached the number one spot on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart with their song, If I Die Young, which Kimberly wrote.
The trio emerged out of Greeneville, Tennessee. In 2023, the band announced they were going on a hiatus to focus on their solo work. In 2025 Kimberly’s husband, Johnny, joined as a backing vocalist for his wife.
The band’s new song, PSYCHOLOGICAL, is an obsessive love story which was written by Clara Park, Grace Tyler, and Colton Venner.
Psycho Rodeo Tour
The band hit the road on their Psycho Rodeo tour next month, running through to August when they are due to perform at the Red, White, and Boots in Huntingburg, Indiana.
