Multi-Platinum country artist Russell Dickerson has celebrated another major career milestone after his hit single “Happen To Me” was officially certified 2X Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Following a performance at the Grand Ole Opry, Dickerson was surprised with a 2X Platinum plaque commemorating the success of the track, which appears on his acclaimed album “FAMOUS BACK HOME”.

The achievement represents another landmark moment for an artist who has now surpassed four billion career streams.

“Happen To Me” reaches 400 million streams

“Happen To Me” has become one of the defining songs of Dickerson’s career, spending multiple weeks at No. 1 in the United States, UK and Canada. The track has also accumulated more than 400 million global streams to date.

Its success has taken Dickerson to several high profile national broadcasts, where he has performed the song on The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, ESPN’s College GameDay and CMA Fest presented by SoFi.

Dickerson is already building momentum with his current single, “Worth Your Wild”.
