Laurence Jones is an award-winning, critically acclaimed blues rock artist from Liverpool. He has supported artists including Sir Ringo Starr, Van Morrison, the late Jeff Beck and Johnny Winter, and was recently the support act for Status Quo on their 2024 farewell summer tour. Buddy Guy famously described him as “like a young Eric Clapton”.
Known for his loyal following across the UK and Europe, Laurence recently partnered with the Music Venue Trust on a 32-date tour supporting grassroots venues. This time, he has booked his UK tour himself, working closely with trusted promoters and venues he wants to give back to where he began.
This year also marks the launch of his own record label, Ron Records, created in memory of his Grandad Ronald Redcliffe. After signing multiple record and publishing deals over a 15-year career, Laurence wanted to finally own his music and release something truly personal. His new album reflects his journey with Crohn’s disease, life on the road and love, and will be released entirely under his own label.
Returning to his roots, Jones will embark on a special debut solo album tour. Blending blues with his classical guitar background, he strips things back to guitar and vocal, creating an intimate but powerful live show. Written during a Crohn’s flare, this is his most personal work to date.
