The MusicFest at Steamboat combines an extensive live music programme with skiing, mountain accommodation and winter activities in Steamboat, Colorado. Spread across 11 stages and five mountains, the festival offers more than 200 hours of live music alongside opportunities to experience the surrounding winter destination.
The event has a particular connection with Texas, Red Dirt and Americana music, bringing together established performers and rising talent. Dickson Productions, the company behind MusicFest, has been producing live music experiences for more than 40 years and supporting artists from these musical traditions.
Music and adventure in the mountains
Performances range from intimate listening rooms to shows inside what the festival describes as Colorado’s largest dancehall. MusicFest also stages specialist performances and its Artists’ Tribute to a Legend, adding distinctive events to the wider programme.
Festival packages combine live music with premier lodging and access to skiing, including both day and night skiing and unlimited gondola rides. Accommodation options feature amenities such as ski in and ski out access, kitchens, fireplaces and hot tubs.
Away from the stages and slopes, visitors can explore hot springs, snowmobiling, shopping and dining, making The MusicFest an experience that combines live roots music with a Colorado mountain holiday.
