Review
J.D. Shelburne delivers pure small-town euphoria on his upcoming single “Backroad Kinda Love”, a hook-laden single built for open windows and Friday nights. Written with Mark Nesler, Mike McQuerry and Adam Fears for the artits’s new album Raised On The Good Stuff, it’s driven by crisp guitars, tight percussion and a chorus that begs to be sung back under the stars. Shelburne’s easy vocal flow captures the carefree spark of moonlit fields and dust trails, turning fleeting snapshots into a timeless country moment. Already tested on stage, this one feels tailor-made for tailgate speakers and summer playlists—radio-ready, feel-good, and impossible not to roll the volume up on.
