Riser House/Columbia Nashville/Sony Music Nashville hitmaker Mitchell Tenpenny received an ACM Award nomination this morning with labelmate Chris Young for their co-penned (along with Chris DeStefano) #1 single “At The End Of A Bar.” Tenpenny and Young performed the song on the ACM Awards in 2022.
“Awesome news to wake up to!” said Tenpenny. “Chris is one of my best friends and it’s just so cool to have this success with him. And DeStefano’s talent is unmatched. So honored to share this with both of them. This week just gets better every day!”
Tomorrow afternoon Tenpenny will celebrate his most recent #1 single, “Truth About You,” with co-writers Matt Alderman and Thomas Archer during a Music Row gathering at BMI. After the #1 party, Tenpenny will head to Nissan Stadium where he will perform on Friday night as part of Luke Combs’ record-breaking World Tour.
