Karissa Ella – “The Country”

Rising country artist Karissa Ella has released her new single, “The Country”.

Available now, the track pays tribute to farmers, factory workers, tradespeople and small-town families whose contributions often go unnoticed but remain essential to everyday life.

“The Country” honours small towns

Ella said: “I’ve always believed there’s something special about small towns and the people who call them home. “The Country” is a reminder that behind every skyline, every highway and every factory is a community of hardworking people making it all possible.

“No matter how big the city gets, everything starts somewhere, and more often than not, it starts in the country.”

New music follows successful EP release

The single arrives during an exciting period in Ella’s career. Her recently released EP, “Growing Wings”, received praise from Billboard, Cowgirl Magazine, Sweety High, Taste of Country and a number of other music publications, further establishing her as one of country music’s rising talents.

She is also preparing for a major live performance when she opens for Russell Dickerson at Mansfield Motor Speedway on 8 August.

Review

“The Country” is an uplifting modern country anthem that proudly celebrates the people and places often overlooked. Drawing on Karissa Ella’s Midwestern roots, the lyrics paint an authentic picture of rural life, honouring the people who make small-town communities with warmth and sincerity. Rather than relying on nostalgia alone, the song delivers an optimistic message about the vital role these communities play in everyday America. Coupled with an infectious hook and energy, “The Country” strikes a balance between heartfelt storytelling and commercial appeal.
