Ziggy Alberts pours his heart into the lyrics of ‘circus’

Ziggy Alberts

Ziggy Alberts pours his heart out as he takes you on a lyrical journey in new song ‘Circus’.

Despite being one of his most personal songs to date, Circus is a universally relatable track and one of his finest on his latest record ‘Searching For Freedom’. In the piano and guitar lead track Alberts aim was for people to “look up four minutes later and wonder where they went” – it does exactly that.

In the first week of release, ‘searching for freedom’ landed #1 on the AIR Album Chart (Independent Labels) and #5 on the ARIA Top 20 Australian Albums chart.

Ziggy Alberts spoke with Maverick at the time of release and you can read a snippet of that interview HERE!
