The British Country Music Awards honored Kirt Webster with the International Services To Industry Award for his contributions to country music as the President of Webster Public Relations, a Nashville-based publicity and marketing firm.
Webster Public Relations client Dolly Parton and Lee Williams, President of the British Country Music Association, presented Webster with the award in Nashville. Webster joins a prestigious list of honorees, like Big Machine Records president Scott Borchetta, the late Jeff Walker and Country Music Association Director of International Relations Bobbi Boyce.
“I moved to Nashville more than 20 years ago to chase my dream of working with country music artists, like Dolly. Today, I have the privilege of working with Dolly and a roster of icons and emerging acts,” Kirt Webster said.
Webster serves as Executive Producer of “The Pickup,” a syndicated country video news series that can be seen on CM&T on the UK’s SKY Television network. “The Pickup” also airs on The Heartland Network, Sandy Zimmerman’s Las Vegas Television Network, 132 US radio broadcast websites (Nash Icon, HankFM, Midwest Communications) and online media blogs.
