Buckle & Boots returns with another stellar line-up for 2023, taking place over the bank holiday weekend of the 25th – 28th May at Whitebottom Farm near Manchester. Continuing their loyal commitment to supporting homegrown talent, as well as introducing rising stars from across the pond to a UK fan base, this year once again sees an array of talent from all over the world, including America, Australia, Canada and the Netherlands.
Buckle & Boots are delighted to welcome Everette to Whitebottom Farm for the first time. UK country fans will be familiar with the Kentucky born duo who wowed audiences at C2C, The Long Road Festival and when they opened for Sara Evans on her recent UK Tour. Rooted in country, rock & roll, southern storytelling, and heartland hooks, Everette proudly blur the boundaries between themselves and their audience. For them, music is all about community and connection which sits perfectly with B&B’s ethos and why they are sure to be warmly embraced by everyone attending.
Following the tradition of presenting Canadian country stars such as Brett Kissel (2019), Tebey (2021), Matt Lang & Dan Davidson (2022), this year’s line-up includes Aaron Goodvin from the Land of the Maple Leaf. The Alberta-bred, Nashville-based country music star has topped the charts, produced a number one single and had several top 10s. Additionally he scored multiple CCMA and JUNO Award wins and nominations, most notably winning the 2018 CCMA Songwriter of the Year. Additionally, he has had songwriter cuts by Luke Bryan, Jon Pardi, Cole Swindell, and Josh Gracin.
Josh Setterfield’s ground-breaking single ‘Right About Now’ has accrued over 1 million streams and propelled him towards the heights of country music in his native Australia. Backed by a loyal and rapidly growing fan base, back-to-back #1’s on CMT, global playlisting and radio play, he is raising the bar with every release and performance.
There will be a special songwriters round on display as D. Vincent Williams (Rascal Flatts, James Otto, Ty Herndon), Trick Savage (Trisha Yearwood, Ashley McBryde, Eric Church) and Blue Foley (Ashley McBryde) roll into the farm for their UK debut. Having written for some of the biggest talent in Nashville it’s sure to be a jewel in the line-up.
Buckle & Boots attendees favourite Jeremy McComb returns for 2023, building on his recent UK Tour with Dan Olsen (who is also on the billing) in November. America continues to be well represented with Nashville recording artists The Reeves Brothers, Jessie G and Watt Wynn all performing under the Stars & Stripes flag along with Minneapolis based singer-songwriter Chastity Brown. Dutch songstress Deborah Parlor makes up the international contingent.
Buckle & Boots will once more welcome some of the best UK talent to their stages this summer with Katy Hurt, Matt Hodges and Two Ways Home all making an appearance. They will be joined by the popular country supergroup The Honkytonk Roadshow and a special performance by the newly formed The Country Orchestra.
Offering something different for Thursday the 25th, entertainment comes in the form of Old Time Sailors, a musical show designed to take the audience back in time through an unforgettable trip to the 19th century and beyond.
