Dustin Lynch is the big name announcement for BaseFEST Powered by USAA, which takes place on the 12th May at Fort Bliss, with the festival designed to bring live music to the military communities that are on base.
The country star has had a productive 2018 so far, and his song ‘Small Town Boy’ has been nominated at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards for Top Country Song,
Headlining BaseFEST is another accolade for Lynch, and it remains to be seen what else can go his way in 2018.
Speaking about the festival broadly, Michael Dones – USAA’s assistant Vice President for brand programs and sponsorship marketing – explained just why it’s so important in America.
“BaseFEST is a great way to bring music experiences directly to our service members and families,” Dones said. “We know military members and their families make huge sacrifices for our country. This is one way for us to say thank you.”
BaseFEST Powered by USAA at Fort Bliss will be open to the public, with a limited number of tickets on sale at BaseFEST.com. Military members, veterans and DoD cardholders may receive free tickets by registering via the website.
Additional talent playing at BaseFEST will be announced at a later date.
